Paityn's first circus!!

Last night I took Paityn to her first circus [Barnum and Bailey:Zing Zang Zoom] with a friend of mine and her son!! I was kind of hesitate to take her just because I was thinking she would freak out because it gets dark and loud, but surprisingly she LOVED it!! When we first got there we got a snowcone, cotton candy, popcorn and lemondae. Needless to say, we ate ALOT of junk food there! LOL After we got seated in our section the elephants came out and her face just lit up! Taking time out of the day to take her to things like this just make life worth living. Seeing her happy, excited and just having a good time makes my heart melt. It's the little things like this in life that remind me everyday that no matter how bad things get I am so blessed to have her there to brighten up my day!!

Until next time...
I will leave with a few pictures from our fun adventure!!!

July 4, 2010

Yes, I know I'm writing this a little late. I have been super busy though. Anywho, this 4th of July was the first one that Paityn really understood and another great thing was that Mitchell wasnt deployed or at some school for the Army this year!! It was a really good 4th, we started off by going to church that morning and then going to have lunch afterwards. Then of course it was time for the princess to get in her beauty sleep. LOL After she woke up we took her to CiCi's Pizza to eat (it's her favorite place) then we went to my parents and got everyone loaded up and headed out to the spot that we usually watch fireworks from! Paityn was really enjoying watching the fireworks from far away, but of course someone had to ruin it and start popping some right where we were sitting at. She was ok for a little while but when the really loud ones started going off she started freaking out. Needless to say, we left shortly after that, so we didnt get to see the finale. But all in all we had a good day/night and the most important thing was that OUR HERO was home with us this year to enjoy it. Here are a couple pictures from the 4th:

New to this!

Hi Yall, I'm new to all this blogging stuff, but thought it would be a great way for me to let my thoughts and all out. To start off, my name is Jessica. I married my wonderful husband Mitchell on July 25, 2008. Together we have a BEAUTIFUL daughter Paityn. She was born on March 25, 2008 and has been such a blessing to our lives since then! We have been thinking about giving her a sibling soon, but just arent 100% sure on that yet because she is such a handful! Mitchell is a SGT. in the U.S Army-National Guard. I currently just went back to work after being a SAHM for 2 years and so far I'm liking it. It's only part time so I still get lots of time with Paityn. We are living in Cleburne right now which is about 30 miles from Fort Worth and we like it. We are super close to my parents so that helps out when we want to have date nights, etc. Well I could go on and on about me and my family, but I'll stop for now so stayed tuned to read more in to my wonderful day to day life.
