Christmas 2011!!

This Christmas was one of the best! We were now a family of four celebrating together!! And I don't know if it's just me but Christmas is so much better when you have kids than when you were a kid! There is nothing I love more than seeing my babies happy!
We took the kids to see Santa about a week before Christmas and Paityn was not afraid this year! She went and sat right on his lap and told him she wanted a phone (iPod touch) and a purple guitar! She was so excited when she woke up Christmas morning and saw that Santa had brought her exactly what she wanted!! Kinsley got a few things as well but with her only being 2 months old it's was kind of pointless to go all out this year, but next year will be a different story!
We had a very busy holiday season but we are blessed to have so many loved ones to visit! I can't wait until next year when Kinsley will be able to open her own presents and have just as much fun as Paityn does!! I hope everyone else had a very Merry Christmas this year!! Here's to 2012!

New Adventures!

It's been a while since I have blogged! I don't have an excuse as to why but I just havent. Since the last time I wrote, we have welcomed a new baby girl to our family! Miss Kinsley arrived October 21, 2011 at 10:17am!
She weighed 8 pounds 9 oz and was 21.5 inches long! She has been such a blessing and I'm thankful everyday that God has blessed me with her!
It was really an easy transition from being a mommy of 1 to a mommy of 2! I thought it was going to be 10 times harder but Paityn hasnt shown any jealousy issues so I guess that helps A LOT!

Just recently I went back to work part time! I only work when my hubby is off work so that he can watch Kinsley because even though I believe in daycares, I do not believe in them for infants. It's been nice being back at work although I do miss the baby and of course Paityn but she enjoys going to "school" with all her friends! As of Decemeber 21st, Kinsley weighs 12 pounds 5 oz and is doing great! We do have to take her to an eye specialist next week because her pedi seems to think one of her eyes has a weak muscle. It's an easy fix if it is in fact that. She also got her ear pierced on Friday December 23rd! They look adorable! And on that note, I will leave you with a couple pictures of Kinsley now!

Question of the day: How do you other momma's feel about daycares?

Today I went to my first doctors visit for baby #2!! It was really exciting to see the baby and know that everything was ok! I could see it's little heartbeat fluttering away and we also got to hear it!! I'm starting to get excited about this pregnancy but still nervous and scared about how my daughter will react once it gets here! Only time will tell on that so until then I'm just going to try and enjoy this pregnancy since it WILL be my last LOL! This week is so busy! Tomorrow my little baby turns 3 years old! I still can't believe it!! I can't wait until her party on Saturday she is so excited about it and I've been planning for sometime now! I'll be posting pictures from it on here later next week!

Planning the 3rd birthday party!!

Sometimes I wonder where the time has gone! 3 years already? It seems like just yesterday I was going to the hospital to be induced. Time really does go by faster once you have a child. It amazes me how much my daughter has grown in the past 3 years and how smart she is for her age. I just love watching her learn new things everyday! Her personality is awesome! She truly lights up my life everyday. She knows how to put a smile on my face even when I'm having a horrible day. Even though her birthday isnt until March 25th and actual party on March 26th, I have been planning the party since the beginning of January! LOL, I know I'm OCD about things like this! I can't help it! I still have a few more things to put in place but so far I'm loving it and I hope she will too!! Here are a few sneak peak pictures of the decorations!!! I can't wait for them to all be put together!!

Yummy Dinner!

Last night the hubby came home after being away at work for about a week. I made us dinner instead of going out to eat and thought I'd share the recipe because it's quick, easy and yummy!!

What you need:
-noodles
-cream of chicken
-corn
-rotel (original)
-chicken breast (I use tenderloins)
-velveeta
-1/2 cup of water (maybe more)

Directions:
Fill cooking pot with water and cook chicken. Once chicken is done cooking remove from water and cut up. DO NOT drain water.
Cook the noodles in the same water the chicken was cooked in. After noodles are done, drain but do not rinse. Place noodles back in to pan and add your corn, cream of chicken, rotel, water and cut up chicken. Stir all together. Once all is mixed well, add velveeta cheese and mix in until melted. After melted add a layer of cheese to the top and just let it all simmer for about 10-15 minutes then its ready to serve!

*I like to serve with 5 cheese garlic bread!

A little update...

I have been slacking A LOT on blogging!! I just forget this thing is here to let my thoughts out on because I'm so busy working and being a mommy!! There is a lot to catch up on so I'll just cover a couple of things!

I now work at Holiday Inn Express in Alvarado!!! NO more Cleburne and NO more having to deal with such a hateful boss!! I'm so glad that God has blessed me and gave me a job that I actually like coming to! Even though it is hard waking up at 5am, getting myself and Paityn dressed and getting out the door on time, but it's worth it!!


I am PREGNANT again!!! Yep, that's right Paityn is going to be a Big Sister!!! I'm excited but scared at the same time! I found out on Feburary 15th so I'm only 4.5 weeks! My first doctors appointment is on March 23rd!! Just two days before Paityn turns 3 yes that's right 3 years old!! I have NO clue where time has gone!!



Just this past Saturday we had family pictures taken! It was definitely time for them to be updated! It had been almost 2 years since the ones were done!! They took about 90 shots of us and some of Paityn by herself but I only like a few of them because Paityn wasnt wanting to be a little angel that day, but the few we did buy look super cute!!








Anywho I will be trying to blog more often and keep this thing updated!!

Paityn's first circus!!

Last night I took Paityn to her first circus [Barnum and Bailey:Zing Zang Zoom] with a friend of mine and her son!! I was kind of hesitate to take her just because I was thinking she would freak out because it gets dark and loud, but surprisingly she LOVED it!! When we first got there we got a snowcone, cotton candy, popcorn and lemondae. Needless to say, we ate ALOT of junk food there! LOL After we got seated in our section the elephants came out and her face just lit up! Taking time out of the day to take her to things like this just make life worth living. Seeing her happy, excited and just having a good time makes my heart melt. It's the little things like this in life that remind me everyday that no matter how bad things get I am so blessed to have her there to brighten up my day!!
